This role will require you to build, maintain and grow relationships with customers, suppliers, and other departments and to liaise on a regular basis with the finance departments at the other sites in the UK.   You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of accounts payable and receivable and will monitor the quality and ageing of sales and purchase ledgers.   You will also be required to follow up and ensure that all necessary authorisations have been given for invoices in a timely manner.   It will be your responsibility to ensure that the accounts processes are consistent across all of our UK sites.   The Accounts Payable and Receivable Supervisor will also be responsible for cash forecasting and for analysing transactions and will be required to produce various statistical reports on a range of information on a regular basis for the Finance Manager.   You will provide day-to-day management of the team, monitoring performance and ensuring seamless co-ordination of tasks and distribution of workload.   You will also have the opportunity to lead the way in developing processes and efficiencies by identifying potential system improvements and developments.     The Person       The successful candidate will have a wealth of experience in processing and monitoring sales and purchase ledgers in a busy finance department, preferably in a supervisory role.   Ideally you will have experience in working across multiple sites and in dealing with overseas payments using multi-currency.   We are looking for someone with good analytical skills with experience in financial reporting and cash forecasting.  A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and Excel is essential.   The candidate should be comfortable using a computerised system, experience of using SAP is desirable.   The appropriate candidate should have a minimum of 4 GCSEs grade C and above. As part of a team, assist and support other member of the Group Risk as and when required  Ensure the smooth running of assigned Group Risk portfolio on a day to day basis  Develop and maintain a constructive and professional relationship with clients and insurers at all levels  Co-ordinate administration of Group Risk schemes including invoicing, membership data, claims data, communication materials and other associated queries  Prepare Group Rick reports and proposals as requested by Consultants  Resolve any identified discrepancies in provider documentation before sending to clients  Periodically attend client and/or insurer meetings with members of the sales team  Maintain client records and data in line with company&#x26;rsquo;s systems and protocols  Establish and maintain up to date knowledge of products and the marketplace, including study for Industry accredited examinations      Key Skills      Strong knowledge of Group Risk products including: Group Life, Group Income Protection, and Group Critical Illness  Professional qualification - GR1 (Group Risk) desirable.
